Re: SSL - TS Configuration will not show installed certificates

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Nothing special:

I start the wizard and leave everything with default settings, typing in required fields like Organization, etc.

Next I copy and paste the Certificate request text into the box on the Certificate company's website and submit the form.

Finally I download the Cert file, restart the wizard and complete the process using defaults.

Thanks.

This is interesting. Can you please list the exact steps you use to
"install" the cert once you receive it from whoever creates it ?

I've just tried creating a cert request from the IIS Wizard, signing
it with my CA, and then "completing" the process within IIS (using
the "Default Web Site"), but I get the same problem with it not
showing up to choose from (although it is listed in the Certificates
snap-in, and also in IE). Perhaps you are doing something different
to me during the "cert import" process and that's where the trick is.
