Re: Terminal Service Bandwidth Requirements

Vera Noest and I have posted bandwidth requirements on these newsgroups based
on my personal testing and monitoring of bandwidth consumption in the System
Monitor Control.

These are some screenshots of Citrix ICA Sessions being monitored with
System Monitor Control:

One illustrates what a graphically intensive application can require, and
the other illustrates the need for capping printer bandwidth. Although these
are both of ICA sessions, RDP bandwidth consumption is very similar.
Terminal Server has no built-in bandwidth management capabilities for RDP,
although I've asked the Terminal Server team to consider this for Longhorn
Server, as it's a much needed feature.
