By far the easiest way would be to get rid of Windows XP completely on the
client side.
I have tried many solutions like this from PXES to ThinStation and IMHO 2X
ThinClient Server is the best one. Centralized management, web based etc.
It will do exactly what you want. Users turn on the PCs and see a logon
screen. Type in their username/password and go straight to the TS.
If they logoff they are back to the initial login screen.
