Re: Printing Revisited!

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I just looked at my RDC it is Shell Version 5.2 Build # 3790
Control Version 5.2.3790.0 This is one I downloaded a year ago per
your recommendation. This one allows me to us my local printers with
Terminal Services and Remote Desktop.

The one that comes with Service Pack 2 will not allow me to use my
local printers.

Interesting Notes: - in the Options Tab - under Local Resources I
have checked both Drives and Printers. The next screen that appears
states that I am only sharing Disk Drives BUT my local printers show
up and I am able to use them.

All this being said - why does the current shipped Win XP version of
the client not allow me to use local printers?

Thanks

Ron
