If users are requested to type in their password, the problem has
nothing to do with the RDP idle time-out, but with the password
protected screen saver.
You can disable it in your local policy:
User Configuration - Administrative templates - Control Panel -
Display
"Screen saver"
"Screen saver executable name"
"Screen saver timeout"
