Maybe the printer is locally attached to a custom port?

302361 - Printers That Use Ports That Do Not Begin With COM, LPT,
or USB Are Not Redirected in a Remote Desktop or Terminal Services

You will also have to map the printer to a native driver. HP
suggests the Deskjet 5550 driver. Don't expect full functionality.
