We are presently investigating several of the alternatives. The largest
obstacle, rather than the price, is that everything we've looked at
require the installation of client software on the workstation doing
the printing. Only a very small minority of our clients would allow us
to install software on their workstations.
Presently, our systems are quite stable. The vast majority of the time,
our client's printers can be mapped to a compatible driver. We're
pretty picky about installing new drivers.
