Funny you should mention UPS. I found out that when I removed the APC
shutdown software, downloaded the latest software from APC, that had a up to
date Java file that when re-booted, all my problems where gone.
I hope this informayion helps someone, rather than get in to some daft
debate about fire and water etc.
