RE: Formula for TS users in Server Config?



There is no such formula that you can apply, as all hardware and software
differs. There are however load testing tools that can be used to test your
hardware with your applications to get a better estimate of how many users
you can get on a box.

Generally 50-75 sessions on a dual Xeon CPU w/ 4GB is a comfort zone, i.e.
under 80% average CPU Time w/ some RAM to spare. Like I said, this all
depends on what software users run, settings you enforce...
