To modify the Default User profile:
1) create a template user account
2) log on with the template user account
3) configure the desktop and all settings exactly as you would like
user to have it
4) log off
5) from the Administrator account, copy the template account's user
profile to the Default User profile (in C:\Documents and Settings
\Default User). Be sure to make a copy of the old Default User
profile first, in case you need to restore. Make sure that you
don't change the permissions on the Default User profile folder
6) disable the template user account until the next time you need
it.
