Tried that.
Upon starting TS Licencing I am told "No Terminal Server Licence Server is
available in the current domain or workgroup. To connect to another licence
server, click Action, click Connect, and then type the server name."
So I then go to Action - Connect - and enter the TS servers name "TS1"
I now get the little Licence Server with "TS1" next to it with a status of
"Activated".
Connecting to the server with RDP client is met with "The remote session was
disconnected because there are no Terminal Server Licence Servers available
to provide a licence. Please contact the server administrator".
A quick look in the Servers event log reads:-
Source TermService
Event ID - 1004
Computer - TS1
The terminal server cannot issue a client licence. It was unable to issue
the licence due to a changed (mismatched) client licence. Insufficient
memory, or an internal error.
I've tried uninstalling the TS Licencing service off the TS box, deleting
the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicencing key, restarting then
reinstalling the Licencing Service and restarting again but the above error
messages remain consistant.
I've also tried adding the:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters\LicenseServers\TS1
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters\LicenseServers\192.168.100.205 keys before restarting again.
Cheers
