deploying TS

Hello All

I want to deploy a Terminal Server to allow people to connect to the TS from
outside our network. Are there security issues if I were to put a win2k or
win2k3 in our DMZ and have the users connect via the real IP addresses or
should I have the connect to a VPN first then connect to the TS
