RE: Licensing Change from Per User to Per Device

OK, I understand what http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822134
is saying...
I left my Terminal Servers (I have 15 of them) in their default state of per
device mode, then after a couple of weeks of people logging in to them,
changed the terminal servers to per user mode. ((I have purchased 900 per
user CAL's) Now the 700 or so temporary per device CAL licenses that I see
are going to do what?
(actually I set the TServers to per user mode to begin with but have to get
the hotfix because they keep switching back to per device mode)
I don't have the luxury of not allowing those devices to connect for 90 days
or whatever. What are my options for removing all of the temporary per device
licenses so that they start using the per user licenses and don't use any
temporary licenses anymore? I called the clearing house and they said that I
have to call PSS and pay $$ to fix this...
thanks in advance!
