Hi Harrison,
Thank you for posting!
The session directory keeps a list of sessions indexed by user name. This
enables a user, after terminating a session, to reconnect to the terminal
server where the previous session resides to resume working in that
session. You may refer to the following resource to configure the NLB with
Session Directory.
This article describes the Session Directory technology that is now
available on Windows Server 2003 computers. With this technology, you can
reconnect to a Terminal Services session from which you have disconnected.
301926 Overview of the Session Directory Technology in Terminal Services
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=301926
This white paper discusses how to plan and deploy a load balanced terminal
server farm using session directory, and how the session directory operates
in a load balanced environment.
818774 White Paper: Session Directory and Load Balancing Using Terminal
Server
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=818774
This article describes the different methods you can use to configure the
Terminal Services Session Directory service.

Hope this helps!

| Thanks for your reply. I am using AD 2000 and my servers are Windows
2003. I
| don't see a GPO in for "Terminal Server". It there a template I can load?
| Thanks again.
