I did not understand the question.
If it is a DOS based application running in a Terminal Server session, if
the CLIENT has dot matrix printers, if they are supported natively on
Windows 2003, these will be autocreated on the TS session.
Then simply share them and map them using NET USE LPT1:. This will do it.
I even posted a script to do that automatically on my website.
