Please forgive me for my newbie-ness. I'm trying, with
no luck, to redirect printing to the remote client using
Terminal Services on a W2K3 Server.
On the remote side, I have an HP All-In-One printer on a
USB port. My questions are:
1. Is the DOT4 port supported by Terminal Services?
2. Do I have to install the driver on the Win2K3 server?
3. I have multiple users, and each of them has a
different printer. What has to be done when they log in,
to make sure they are "mapped" to the correct printer so
they can print correctly to THEIR specific printer?
I apologize if these are basic questions, but I'm having
difficulty locating concise instructions on how to
accomplish this. After going through all the resources I
could find on Microsoft.Com, I've become an expert at
licensing issues, but not at the more practical issue of
printing. Thanks in advance.
Scott
