We do this and it is really simple.
In Active Directory, locate the user you want to do this to and under
their properties, select the Environment tab.
Check the box that says "Start the following program at logon."
And type the path to your program, ex. "C:\program.exe"
Start in, ex. "C:\"
Thats it! The program opens when the user logs in, and once the
program closes, the session is logged off the server.
If you have lots of users, you can write a script for these values.
