First, Thank you for taking the time to reply to my issue....

Some info :)

This network has the following running on a regular business day. 6 to all TS Clients are logged in for most of the day.

Windows 2000 Standalone Server, All Updates Services Packs and Fixes...
12 Clients are Windows XP Pro Running Remote Desktop Client (System default)
6 Clients are running Windows 2000 Pro. Remote Desktop Client from the XP Pro CD ..

2 Systems connect throught VPN as limited profiles (XP Pro Systems)
18 systems on the local lan also use the service with the above mentioned client OS's and Remote Desktop Client. (Also with limited Profiles).

The error I mentioned in the first post only happens on the XP Pro based clients, I have never seen it on systems running Win2kPro, either through the VPN or on the local LAN..

>>>Any events in the EventLog?

Not a thing, not 1 log, nothing, not on the XP Pro systems either.. ... Ive never seen this before (Ive built a few of these on large networks), my last resort is always posting to news groups.. :)

>>>Are you using thin clients? If so, check this:

We have a few pocket PC's but non of them used the TS Service on their PPC's..

Just to jug your memory, the original error was..

"Because of a protocol error, the session will be disconnected. Please try to reconnect."

Any info would be great. , Thanx for reading.. :)

Are you using thin clients? If so, check this:
