Hello Ben,
This is Windows Server 2003 isn't it?
GPT is only supported on Itanium machines as the OS volume.
It's supported as the data volume on non-Itanium machines for Windows
Server 2003.
With Windows Server 2008, x64 will support EFI, so GPT disks can be used as
the OS volume.
Does your hardware support EFI?
