Client PCs can no longer write to the shared drive

We're in a new (7 weeks old) Win2003 server environment w/ WinXP SP2
workstations. Suddenly the client computers canNOT create anything on the
shared drive regardless of who they're logged in as (including
administrator). From the server console it works fine. The permissions
have not been changed. Any ideas?

Thx,

D
