Setup CD

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi everyone - I downloaded Windows 2003 server standard from the Microsoft
Volume Licensing web site. It comes as a self-extracting .exe file. I
unzipped everything inside the folder, and tried to boot using the CD, but
could not ... the CD wasn't recognizable. Then I used my CD recording
software to include a bootable image so that the CD could boot. That didn't
work either. Finally, I used an old Windows 98 start up disk. I went into
the i386 folder and typed winnt as the instructions said. The setup program
responds that it could not create a swap file and it quits.

The only way I can see how to do this is to install XP first, but that
seems crazy. Surely there must be a way to install from the CD. Any
suggestions? Many thanks for the help.
