I have SBS 2003 Standard SP1 and a new 2003 R2 Server. When I add the
2003 R2 server will I be forced to upgrade AD?
Not that I'm aware of - AD itself doesn't know or care about the R2 bits.
This is a bit
ambiguous in the forums and I am unsure if I need to purchase the R2
disks for SBS or I can use the 2003 R2 disks to update AD without
whacking my current SBS.
I suggest you post in microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs - if you're going
to add this server to the domain (even as a member server), you need to do
it using the wizards in SBS (as you need to do nearly everything in SBS).
