RE: RIS/RIPREP Image problem with Dell Poweredge 2950 - W2k3 SP2

I am sure that it is not a permissions issue, even though from the error
message it appears to be that.
I am logged and as Administrator (the only account).

| I am having a problem with a Ripreped image of a PE 2950. Device Manager
does
| not like the RAID Driver (Dell Perc 5/i Integrated Rad Controller:
| percsas.sys).
|
| I slipstreamed SP2 so that I would have a flat RIS Image to load the 2950
| with, adding the Dell Drivers for the RAID. All works fine. Device
Manager is
| happy, even after a reboote.
| I then created a Riprep image from the 2950.
|
| I then reran PXE boot to install the ripreped image. The system installs
and
| boots. However, after logging in the system says found new hardware (the
RAID
| device).
| Device Manager has a ? for the device (same driver is shown as in the
flat
| image).
| Trying to reload the driver as a result of the new hardware prompt does
not
| work (access denied).
|
| I checked \Windows\setupapi.log and saw:
| Processing add/delete section [percsas_Inst.ntx86.Services]
| E0333 Error 5: Access is denied
| E275 Error while installing services
|
| Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
