startup files on windows compatible partition

hi all,

I am trying to figure out ways of having a fail safe backup of my server. I
don't have a hell lot of data and only a few users, but I live in Mexico and
hardware goes fast here.

Besides my RAID set I have two more ATA drives installed on my future
server. I am playing with SBS 2003 R2, but I would think my problem is a
general setup issue.

I was hoping to be able to simply create the boot & system partition on the
RAID set,
but I forgot about the error you get trying to install on any other than
Disk 0.

"To install Windows on the partition you selected, Setup must write some
startup files to the following disk:
999999 MB Disk 0 at Id 1 on bus 0 on atapi [MBR]
However, this disk does not contain a Windows-compatible partition."

Running several setup scenarios leaves me with at least 26 MB of data on
that very same disk marked as system partition. It makes my RAID somewhat
useless if anything happens to that other disk and I can't start my system.
A workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Salduos, clau
