Re: RIS Partition
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
RIS uses a groveller service to pick out duplicate files from all the images
and store them once. This means that anything on the drive will be
grovelled. It also makes any copy, delete or move operations rather slow.

Hi All
I'm about to install a RIS server on windows 2003. I was reading a
Microsoft document which says, should dedicate a whole disk or partition
for my RIS images.
I was looking to share the partition with other data, is this a bad idea
and I should follow the MS doc
