Are you looking at automating the installation?
When you automate the installation, everything is automatic, but i think
you'll still need the display, else you don't know the status of the
installation right?
If you want to automate the installation, look into the CD source. In the
support directory, you should be able to find a file called deploy.cab. May
be a different directory, but i'm dead sure deploy.cab is the file.
Get into the file, you should be able to find several .chm files. They are
help file to help you deploy the OS including automating it. ;-)

I have a server we need to install W2K3 Std. on and we want to install it
as a headless member server to only be used for file sharing. We want to
only have access through the serial ports using command line control of the
server to administer the file sharing. All the documentation I have come up
with shows a GUI install. Is there a way to just do a non-gui install or do
we still need to do a gui install and disconnect the display after the
install? And how about any failed services that would occur with the
keyboard and mouse disconnected? I've got the command line serial port
commands okay, it's just the install questions that remain. Thanks for any
help,
Mike Lawson
