THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE DOUG
I CURRENTLY HAVE NODES CONNECTED TO A SWITHC - NETOPIA ROUTER CONNECTED TO
THE SWITCH AND FROM THE WAN PORT ADTRAN T1 ROUTER.
I HAVE CONNECTED MY ACCESS POINT TO THE SWITCH AND EVRYTHING PASSES THRU MY
DNS SERVER.
EVERYTHING WORKS OK - I WAS JUST TRYING TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO HAVE THE
PUBLIC CHANGE THEIR NIC TO RECOGONIZE THE DNS IP.
ANY OTHER THOUGHTS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Don't know enough about your infrastructure, and have no experience with
Cisco 1130 AGs. If this is all one network/subnet, then you may not be
able
to use DHCP to give 'external' wireless clients different settings. In
thi
case the easiest solution may be to add a cheap wired or wireless
Internet
router to the existing network - connect its WAN/Internet port to a LAN
port
on your exiting network. Then connect the APs and configure clients to
connect to the new network. That way 'external' clients can have
completely
different settings, and the new router's default DHCP service may not even
need to be changed.

Thanksout
Doug - I'm using Cisco 1130 AG Access Points. Do you know how to "pump"
the DNS of the ISP via that or How to Pump it out to the user NIC?message

No - clients cannot resolve Internet names without DNS. However, you
could
pump out your ISP's DNS server address instead of that of your internal
DNS
server.

I'm trying to setup a Wireless Access Point for external users (within
the
building) and have them access the Internet via their lap top.
I have the AP setup and works great. Howevr, I must have the internal
inIP
set in the NIC to access the Internet via my routers.
Is there a way to access the Internet without having the DNS IP set up
the NIC?
