Thanks Neo. If you find those winlogon reg key settings, that would be
great, and if you know of a KB or something on establishing that trust, that
would be great too!

Yes, a trust relationship can exist between NT4 & 2003. The key to get
this to work to reconfigure some of the security settings in 2003 so it is
compatible with NT4.
Yes, the netbios name is displayed by default. I used to know what the
registry value was to actually force the fully qualified domain name to
show up in the logon screen. If interested in them, post back and I
should be able to locate them since I know then went under the "Winlogon"
section in the registry.

Ah. OK. I don't think it's possible for an NT domain to have trust
relationship with a 2003 server domain? We're migrating and are running
both domains. Also, is it normal for the dot com to be dropped from the
domain name on the logon screen? I thought the entire domain name should
appear?
Thanks!

A trust relationship has to exist between the two before both will show
up in the logon screen.

Isn't it possible for an XP workstation to have a choice of joining
domain A or domain B from the logon screen? I seem to be able to only
get it to display one server 2003 domain at a time on the logon screen.
Thanks!
