Hi..
I've been setting up & tweaking this server for the last few days and
today was doing some final group policy tweaks (using GPMC & yes I
patched it with KB842933) - I was prompted to restart after some
automatic updates happened, and since then I've been unable to get into
the GPMC. Every time I try it says:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Program: C:\windows\system32\mmc.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more
information.
I then click OK, and get :
mmc.exe - application error
The exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) occurred in the
application at location blahblah, ok to terminate cancel to debug.
I click OK and get
The application at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The
memory could not be "written".
Help!
