On a print server running 2003 Server I get the following error (and
others similar to it) repeatedly:
Driver HP LaserJet 2300 series PCL6 required for printer!!fs3!5542.
Workroom LaserJet 2300n Is unknown. Contact the administrator to
install the driver before you log in again.
This is a workroom printer at our 5542 building. The print server
has the driver. May I ask how to resolve this error?
I'm confused as to where you're seeing this message. Is this a terminal
server? Are you having problems with printer redirection in TS?

In fact, if you have WinXP Pro you can do it more neatly by using SLPR on the OS/2 end, and a UNIX style network port on WinXP. ... does a print server depend on OS-specific ...
