Well - of course you'll make a backup first. I can't imagine a
service pack requiring something that the original OS
didn't.....make sure you have enough free disk space on your
system partition, and you don't have scary stuff in your event
logs.
It's a very stable system. We're okay on free disk space and there
are no scary stuff in the event logs. :-) And, of course I'll
make a backup before proceeding next weekend...

Just in case someone else has the same concern I had... The SP1
install went without problems.
