Yes, I booted the 2003 CD - it would NOT let me delete or format the main
partition saying temp files are in that partition that Setup needs.
I am an MSDN subscriber so I have full versions. I had to use the original
Dell XP Home CD and that apparently does not put temp files in the partition
and thus allows formatting. After formatting I had to immediately open the
CD drive to stop XP Home from installing and then reboot to the 2003 CD.
Messy, but it worked.
