Best practice - ditch that. Host your own mail. Try posting in
m.p.windows.server.sbs for more help.

If the clients are using a POP account in their mail client, it could well
be.
I'd change from POP, as mentioned - and have your ISP set up a PTR for your
public IP (if static) or forward all outbound Internet mail to your ISP's
SMTP server as a smarthost.
