I am trying to install win2003 server on a machine with an external USB
hardrive. The system was running 2003 before but my internal CD ROM died.
Now during new install it cannot see the USB drive during the reboot. SO I
tried network install.
I net use to another cdrom on another machine and run "winnt" but now system
complains about disk space. So I fdisk'd partition and now system complains
about "unable to locate hard drive".
What do I do now, server does not give me format option and the format
utility on 2003 requires windows environment.
Thanks.
