Windows Server 2003

An installation of 2003 went sour, so I tried to repair / re-install it.
Long story short, I have ended up with the dodgy install on and a working
install (windows.0) on c: and a working install on d:.

How do I remove the installation on d: ? Is it safe to just delete that
whole folder?

Thanks for your insight,

Mike
