I am cleaning up a network and upgrading to Windows 2003 server. This server
will provide all DHCP, services for security purpose. Apparently the DHCP
was being assigned from their ISP's firewall to the entire LAN. Most of the
users have not been logging into the NT-4.0 domain. Difficult enough to
explain the logon difference between local user accounts and domain accounts
and it's importance to security. I am requiring all users to logon to the
new Windows 2003 domain. I need to know how I can transfer their local user
profiles on their machines, to the server, for use as their domain profiles.
Giving them the ability toretrieve the same profile when logging onto the
windows 2003 domain and not be confused about where their "shorcuts,my docs
etc" are located. Thanks. Humbly appreciate your help.
