Hi Simon,
Web Edition can support 2 CPU's, you can power down, plug it in, and go.
Depending on your system you may need to install the SMP driver (should be
automatic) and it may or may not prompt you for a reboot. You can confirm
that you've got the processor installed and recognized by opening Task
Manager and checking the performance tab (it'll show you performance for
each processor).
