OK...let me come at this from another direction...because I think I might
have mislead my intentions.
>From all PC's hitting this new site running on Server 2003 by way of IP
address I have to supply credentials. If hitting the site by name I am fine.
The overall question is why is this happening? Has Server 2003 brought
something to the plate that prohibits hitting websites by IP? For all
practicle purposes all websites are hit by name which is a good thing, but
overall my curiousity is why can I not hit the website by IP in Windows 2003
but can do so hitting a website running Windows 2000 Server? Keeping in mind
that this site is an Intranet website and both sites are identical on both
OS's.
Thanks Again :)
