Tim,
Windows Server 2003 did work with the Maxtor ATA133
card. It just doesn't work with thw TX2000 and 2 HD.

This is going to take some time to try out and will
leave me down. Also this is my home computer so I will be
juggling evenings and weekends in my spare time.

This is a P3 in a Diamond Flower motherboard. I did update
the bios when I first bought it. I will have to check and
see if i can get the original bios and check with Diamond
tech support.

I have a new FX5200 256MB video card so I will have to
check that. The old card was a Viper v770u AGP 2X 32MB.

The cpu is Intel P3 1.13ghz Tualatin. I have two exhaust
fans one on the back and one on the side like P4 cases
have. I use both the BIOS and SI Sandra to check the cpu
temp. I have trouble keeping the temperature below 40C or
100F sometimes. I have Artic Silver 5 on the cpu and a
Thermaltake TR2-M1 fan. The TR2-M1 is a beginners fan, but
it is extra low noise 21dba. It is a 2500 rpm fan that
moves 32.4 CFM and is real cheap compared to other low
noise solutions. I have to sleep with this in the next
room so I want it quiet too.

I will run some tests and check back with results.

Donald
