Not to be long-winded but here goes...
I have a mixed-mode W2K (no NT4...just never switched over to native mode)
domain (multiple DCs). I am running Exchange 2003. My domain is not a DNS
FQDN as there is no suffix (ex: bad. ). I would like to rename my domain to
a proper FQDN and suffix to something like MyDomain.USA. I realize that I
can do this by installing an NT4 BDC, resynching the domain, dcpromo...yada
yada yada....(I have KB292541). My biggest concern is what is going to
happen to my Exchange server....The domain that the Exchange server services
is not related to the current domain name (ex: Exchange2003 manages
MyDomain.com com resides in the domain bad. ).

1) Is this possible?
2) Will I be pulling my hair out (not alot left)?
3) If so...HOW!
4) I am looking for a least-effort solution...I do NOT want to go through
ADMT and migrate to a new domain or EXMerge (or equivalent) my Exchange
message store.

I plan on doing this over a weekend so downtime is not so much an issue but
I need to be FULLY functional come the following Monday. Any help would be
GREATLY appreciated.
