Paul,

Yes - if the client is Windows 2000 or Windows XP and you have configured
all the IP settings correctly to allow it to find the Active Directory and
the Domain Controllers use AK.LOCAL.
You can also use AKNETBIOS if your PC is using WINS to locate DCs.
Either should work.
