I have a solution that works for Server 2003, but since you are running W2K,
you might try this.

1) Go to
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/20313.html
    and download the softpaq

After you apply this softpaq, your array controller drivers for your Master
Device will be update to the latest drivers available for W2K and will
contain support for the following controllers:

Smart Array 5300 Controller
Smart Array 5i
Smart Array 532 Controller
Smart Array 5312 Controller
Smart Array 641 Controller
Smart Array 642 Controller
Smart Array 6400 Controller
Smart Array 6400 U320 EM Controller

Remove the [SysprepMassStorage] section from your sysprep.inf file and
recapture your image. You now should be able to deploy this image to any
server containing the above controllers.

With the Server 2003 method, I was able to use and IBM server to capture and
image and then deploy it to a HP ML530 with a SA 5300 Controller.
