all hyperthreading cpu's show double in windows, so that isn't an issue. The
memory issue I can't help with though.

Enterprise Server 2003 for using Terminal Services. The machine was ordered
with 6GB of RAM and four Xeon Processors. Windows was recognizing only
3.5GB of RAM. We attaced the /PAE switch at the end of the boot.ini line
for the server and boosted the recognizable RAM to 5.5GB. Where and how can
we get the extra half-gig back. (The BIOS/Post does see 6GB, just windows
will not.)

(Post shows 4). These are the new Xeons with HyperThreading technology, so
I am assuming the O/S is running its test for CPUs and it is coming back
double. It stays at 8 even when he forces it to only 4. We didn't do any
BIOS hacking to turn it off yet because we don't see it as a performance
problem, it just doesn't make sense.
