Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi Cindy,

That error message still means it was a volume licensed copy. Even if there
were a way to change the product key (which there is, it's a WMI script -
this should work
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q328874), it won't
work since an OEM key only works on an OEM installation (which this doesn't
appear to be)
