Re: tasklist

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

When I type that string into google I get one direct hit that references a
wmi query. The rest of the hits are irrelevant. Same thing with Alta-Vista.
With regard to the reference to DOS, I am in the habit of referring to the
command console as DOS for the past 30 years. Old habits die hard...

So I take it that nobody has seen tasklist and this error message together.

"Server buffers are full and data cannot be accepted"
this is the message I get when I type in this command at a DOS prompt on
some of my servers. Others it displays the expected results. I suspect a
configuration variable is not set right or high enough. Does anybody have
a
clue on how to fix this error.

I typically have Windows 2003 sp1 or 2 loaded and these servers are plenty
busy.
thanks
Paul

Google is your friend. When you type "Server buffers are full and data
cannot be accepted" into a Google search box you'll get a handful of
replies, one of them from Microsoft. By the way, your server does not run
DOS. This is a legacy OS introduced some 30 years ago. You're probably
working in the Command Console.
