Good Morning, hoping to get some help with an issue I am having. Working
in
a HS environment and have a major problem with students not logging off
their
systems after they leave classes. I am looking for a way to force a
system
to logoff the user after a period of inactivity. They all authenticate to
our Windows 2003 AD and we are not using TS. Any help with scripting this
to
tie into the Screensaver or Scheduler would be a great help.
thanks in advance.
You could try a little substitution racket: Replace the current
screen saver executable with an executable that you compile
yourself. Its sole function would be to invoke shutdown.exe -L.
This is not a particularly robust solution because it depends
on the screen saver remaining fixed. Just a thought . . .
.
