Hi

You could user the resource kit utility addusers which allows you to add a
list of users from a txt or csv file. See:
http://www.ss64.com/nt/addusers.html for more information.

Another alternative would be to create a batch file that uses the Net Users
username /Add command.

The last, more complicated solution, would be to create the acounts with vbs
reading the information from an excel csv file.

I know that it is possible to create script that adds users, in bulk say
1000, to active directory but it is possible to do this on a stand alone xp
machine?
