Create a textfile with the following line (change the drive letter to suit
your systems).
defrag C:
save it as defragC.bat.

Now schedule it using the Task Scheduler wizard in Control Panel, which will
let you specify the date and time.

The above will only work on XP onwards.

I see a script to create a task for notepad.exe, but i dont see how is is
assigning the day and time..

how would I write a script to create a task to run defrag once a week at
3am
on saturday?
