[MSH] Starting a new shell based on a script

Say that I have a MSH script that contains a whole bunch of settings
specific to a particular task. How can I launch MSH.EXE and have it load
that script. If I try to pass ". path_to_script", MSH tells me it is not a
valid, cmdlet, function or script file.
