As sbillard says, user login scripts are a poor solution to patching.
Although computer startup scripts may work, you have the additional job of
testing whether a patch has already been applied and ensuring that patches
are applied in the correct order.

Why not get Microsoft to do the work for you? Check out SUS (Software
Update Services). It's not a perfect solution, but it's better than a lot
of solutions and it's free.

Alternatively, GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner can push patches to
machines. See www.gfi.com.
